Sam’s locker is please to partner with The Owyhee Writers League (The OWL) to bring special pricing for our new resume service.
The average online resume costs $200 or more. We can get your resume professionally done at just $50 as a convenient in-store service. Why would a pawnshop offer resumes? Simply because we want to better service our community and realize some of our customers may be between jobs, or underemployed, and could use that extra professional help to get their next good-paying job. Here at Sam’s Locker we are all about helping people, and The Owyhee Writer’s league shares that vision and has offered us special pricing to make it happen. If you have other documentation needs, be sure to ask them when you come in. They are able to help with a variety of non-legal documentation needs.
Appointments can be made through the following link, or at Sam’s Locker on Fairview. Please note that a non-refundable $25 deposit is required in order to book the appointment, and the balance is due upon completion of the service. If for some reason you need to reschedule your appointment, just let us know three days ahead of time and we will be happy to move it to another date that works for you. Appointments are available Saturdays and Sundays during business hours and are limited to seven appointments per day.
Please expect appointments to last between thirty minutes to an hour, and bring with you your work history, prior job responsibilities, and the minimum and preferred requirements page of any specific job you have in mind. While we would prefer to tailor your resume towards a specific job, we also understand the need for general purpose resumes and are happy to accommodate with those as well.
How The OWL came to Sam’s
The Owyhee Writers League is a local writing service that provides technical documentation to local businesses and individuals. Founded in 2019 by Boise State Alumnus and Army veteran turned writer, Mike Hassoldt, The OWL provides a wide variety of services. Mr. Hassoldt and Sam Reading have been good friends for several years. When they were recently discussing the great work that Sam’s Locker was already doing in the community, they came up with the idea to add a resume service to the many services Sam’s Locker already offers. Mike agreed to give Sam’s customers a great deal on pricing, and the plans were set.
